We are committed to the sustainable protection of the environment. A long-term reduction in energy consumption is one of our corporate principles.
Targeted investments are made to maintain, modernise and further develop the energy efficiency of our facilities.

Every one of our employees is responsible for acting in an energy-conscious manner.
This is how we understand sustainability:

  • Increased use of FSC®-certified paper (paper from sustainable forestry).
  • Improving the energy balance by investing in modern equipment.
  • Environmentally friendly labelling, including the production of labels with the DPG logo
    (labelling of disposable drinks packaging subject to deposit).
  • Waste separation. More than 99% of our waste is recycled.
  • Carbon neutral shipping possible on request.

CCL is committed to regional green electricity

From 1 January 2026, we will be sourcing our electricity from renewable energy generated by a solar park in the Föhren region – in partnership with SWT from Trier. 

This switch will not only help drive the local energy transition, but will also enable us to reduce our own carbon footprint in a sustainable way – locally, with short supply chains and transparent sourcing.

Ecosia

Planting trees with search queries. That's what we do every day - with Ecosia, the sustainable search engine. Ecosia uses 80% of its revenue generated from searches and adverts to plant trees and support other sustainable projects around the world.


In order to make a daily contribution to environmental protection, we have set Ecosia as the default search engine in our company's browser.

FSC® certified materials

FSC® paper comes from sustainable forestry. This sustainable paper conserves natural resources and minimises CO2 emissions. Processing and printing are identical to conventionally produced papers.
There are no limits to finishes such as relief embossing or relief varnish.

  • Extensive paper programme with FSC® certification

Our environmentally friendly labels are useful for your arguments to your customers.
